Check out Project Next Generation!

Project Next Generation is a program put on through the Elmwood Park Public Library since 2000.

PNG runs in sessions; Fall (Oct.), Spring (Feb.) & Summer (June). Classes are generally 8 weeks long followed by an 8 week break.

PNG is a class-like activity that meets twice a week for 2 hours a day. Unlike school, however kids will learn about things like digital video cameras, photography, the Internet and several computer programs.

PNG students will have a lot of fun playing educational computer games, doing hands-on activities with their classmates, and unleashing their creativity to help complete videos, short stories and many other projects.

PNG is an extremely fun and relaxed environment where kids can be themselves while learning things that are both interesting and useful.

Best of all, PNG is totally free and open to everyone (going into) 6th grade through 8th grade! Students need only fill out an application for enrollment at the Youth Services desk at the library.

If you have any questions you can e-mail png.eppl@gmail.com, call 708-395-1235, or just stop by the Youth Services Department at Elmwood Park Public Library.
