Photoshop Poster Design

We are back in the PNG room today! Unfortunately, the files we started on Thursday can't be opened in Photoshop so we went back to the Photoshop files from the first class and got to work
! We wrapped up our designs and got them formatted to print out on our poster printer.

Now, we have some cool designs to show off! Check them out!

Photoshop Poster Design

Things were not ideal today. We had to make to with another photoediting software called Pixlr. Essentially, it's a web-based photoshop! It had familiar tools like the lasso and layer tool!

Some of us started brand new posters, others continued with our original designs. All of us, however, were frustrated!

On Tuesday, we will be back to normal and wrap up!

Photoshop Poster Design

Today was the first day of our Photoshop Poster Design class. We brainstormed hard about creating a cool poster and how to make it a reality. We also learned the very basics of Adobe Photoshop Elements!

TinkerCAD Day 4

Today was the last day of Tinkercad! The students finalized their ideas and exported their designs to be printed on the Makerbot Replicator 3D printers! Hopefully they will keep working in TinkerCAD and have more objects printed in the future!

TinkerCAD - Day 3

It is the final week of the class and our projects are starting to look good! We've been slowly adding details while keeping other details in mind such as how our designs will print, color, and a lot more!

TinkerCAD - Day 2

Today we continued working on our creations. Some of us started fresh, and others continued on the designs we started on Tuesday.

Next week, we will add the finishing touches and get them downloaded to send them to the 3D printer

TinkerCAD - Day 1

We started a new 3D printing session today and we went back to the basics. A bunch of new comers signed up so we had to go through the process of learning how to make our ideas come to life!

We gave everyone a quick breakdown of TinkerCAD. We learned how to scale objects, create holes, group objects, and so much more.

Next class, we'll get going on creating our own unique designs!

Hour of Code

Who doesn't love a good coding session? In this laid-back class, everyone went through self-guided lessons and taught themselves the ins and outs of basic block coding using websites like Code.org or Tynker.com.

We all definitely have the hang of this coding thing down so next time, we can move on to something bigger and better!
