PNG - Oct 15 - Internet Browsers

We had our second day of class today and a few new faces. I'm sure some of the kids found this class particularly boring. We went over Internet Browsers and showed the kids the various features that make up most browsers.

At the end of class we had an Internet Search Quiz to help them test their Internet searching capabilities. We'll move on to more entertaining stuff soon, I promise.

PNG Summer Preview!

In lieu of a traditional PNG summer session class. We have decided to hold an open house style summer session called PNG Preview.

PNG Preview will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 - 2:00pm starting July 10th to August 16th. It is an opportunity for kids who are curious about PNG to come and see what the program is all about.

Kids can check out the programs and activities that normal PNG students do everyday. They can play the computer games, learn some of the cool software that we use, like Photoshop and ULead Video Editor, make movies, take pictures with our digital cameras and practice their typing skills. They can also learn more about the Internet and e-mail and check out programs that will help them with their homework in the fall, like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

  • PNG Preview is available to children between 5th grade and 8th grade.
  • There is no sign up required.
  • Kids are not required to show up to all sessions or stay for the entire length of any session.

PNG Preview is free of charge and free of obligation. Come as you please and learn about the program!
