TinkerCAD

Today was the first day of TinkerCAD.

We had a great turnout and we ran the newcomers through the tutorial on how TinkerCAD works.

Once the students have mastered the basics, we'll turn them loose to design a 3D object of their choosing and at the end of our 4-day class we will print them out in PLA plastic on our Makerbot Replicator 3D printer!

TinkerCad was very confusing. I think I got the hang off it, maybe. Oh and I'm making a keychain.

Today we did the lessons and started on our creative sculptures "This is the dumbest class I have ever been in #SuperLame" as I quote Ahren. I blew through the lessons, really easily. Tinkercad didn't let start on my own account because i am a "restricted user" and it would take 3 business days to become a regular user
