Robot Club

We're back at it today with more robot building! We now have two "fully" built robots. One needed some syncing configuration and the other needed some screw and motor adjustments. We'll use this blog entry to record our progress so we can look back and fix all of our mistakes next month!

The vex net keys lost their connection with each other, so the joystick and vex robot wouldn't connect so they had to use a wire to connect them.

we got the program to be deleted, but now the screws were messed with, so the limitations on Bob were set. let's hope we can get them competing by next month.

The class was fun. the arm on one of the robots is still pretty loose.

HOW TO FIX VEX CORTEX AND JOYSTICK SYNCING
1) Make sure firmware is up to date on both Cortex and Joystick (Firmware download)
2) Download default Joystick configuration options (Sample Programs -> VEX2 --> Remote Control --> Clawbot Single Joystick Control.c)
3) Download and compile to robot
4) Reset power cycle and test program
*motors may need to be reconfigured after

WHAT TO DO IF ROBOTC WON'T COMMUNICATE WITH CORTEXT
1) Make sure Platform type is set to Vex 2.0 Cortex
